For this role, you will work directly with our client, a U.S.-based performance marketing agency located in Central Time that specializes in lead generation across multiple insurance verticals. The company operates with a strong focus on data, campaign optimization, buyer performance, and revenue growth.


Role Summary

The Account Manager – is responsible for managing and growing relationships with direct lead buyers (advertisers) and publishers across multiple insurance verticals. This role ensures buyers receive high-quality, compliant, and profitable traffic while maintaining alignment between buyer requirements and affiliate supply. The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for buyer performance, delivery, and optimization.


Key Responsibilities

Buyer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned direct buyers/advertisers and publishers
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and media teams
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and business check-ins
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing buyer and publisher accounts

Campaign & Performance Management

  • Monitor lead volume, quality, CPL/CPA, and conversion metrics
  • Ensure campaigns meet buyer KPIs and margin targets
  • Optimize delivery based on buyer feedback and performance data
  • Coordinate with internal traffic/ops teams to scale or adjust supply

Onboarding & Launch

  • Manage onboarding of new direct buyers from contract to launch
  • Gather and document campaign requirements, targeting, and compliance specs
  • Configure posting instructions, tracking, and acceptance criteria
  • Test lead flow and ensure accurate routing and reporting before go-live

Quality & Compliance Oversight

  • Monitor lead quality and buyer acceptance rates
  • Investigate discrepancies, rejections, or performance issues
  • Coordinate returns, credits, or make-goods as needed
  • Ensure buyer requirements are consistently enforced across affiliates

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Deliver weekly/monthly performance reports to buyers and leadership
  • Track revenue, margin, and pacing against targets
  • Forecast volume and scaling opportunities
  • Maintain CRM/account documentation and notes

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Align with other team members on buyer needs and feedback
  • Work with Tech/Operations on integrations and tracking accuracy
  • Partner with Finance on billing accuracy and reconciliation
  • Support Sales with upsell and expansion opportunities


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Buyer retention and satisfaction
  • Revenue and margin growth from assigned accounts
  • Lead acceptance rate / quality score
  • Campaign launch speed and accuracy
  • Discrepancy resolution time
  • Volume delivery vs forecast


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years in affiliate marketing, lead generation, or digital advertising account management
  • Experience managing advertiser/buyer relationships
  • Strong analytical and performance optimization skills
  • Understanding of CPL/CPA/CPC campaigns and lead funnels
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • English proficiency C1+ (Professional Level) – Required. Must be able to confidently communicate with U.S.-based buyers in meetings, reporting discussions, and performance reviews.


Preferred:

  • Experience with lead-gen verticals (home services, insurance, legal, finance, etc.)
  • Familiarity with tracking platforms, CRMs, or ping/post systems
  • Data analysis skills (Excel, dashboards, BI tools)
  • Experience working with affiliates and direct advertisers simultaneously

The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and relationship-focused. They understand how buyer economics, lead quality, and affiliate supply interact, and can proactively optimize campaigns to maximize both buyer ROI and company revenue.
